Your Weekly Plan: Structured for Progress and Fun

Our program follows a carefully structured weekly schedule, ensuring that you make steady progress while keeping your practice engaging and fun. Here’s a detailed breakdown of each week:

Week 1: Technique and Solo Breakdown

We start each month with an inspiring improvised solo and a backing track. This isn’t just about learning a solo—it’s about understanding the "why" behind every note. Here’s what you’ll do:

The solo will be presented in three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced; so that whatever your level of playing, you'll be able to have fun playing along.

The solo will also be broken down into "licks", so that if you are strapped for time, you can work on specific parts of the solo. We'll go through how each lick is built using different scales, arpeggios and techniques, mapping them out so that you can see how fretboard navigation and music theory are turned into music.

Week 2: Creativity and Improvisation Training

Building on the foundation from Week 1, this week focuses on helping you unlock your creativity and develop your own unique style. Here’s what you’ll explore:

All of these challenges are designed to help you become more creative by guiding you through specific applications and combinations of ideas.

Week 3: Community Feedback and Q&A

Week 3 is all about growth through interaction. You’ll receive direct feedback, participate in live Q&A sessions, and engage with the community. Here’s how:

Week 4: Playbook Deep Dive

To wrap up the month, we dive into a specialized playbook focused on a specific topic. Each playbook is a mini-course designed to expand your skills and inspire creativity. Possible examples include:

This week keeps your learning fresh and ensures you always have something exciting to look forward to.

Playbooks will be based on what you want - you can comment in the student area on the playbooks you want to see. There are a few playbooks you can already access when joining (mentioned later).

What Happens After Week 4?

After Week 4, we start again, with a new improvisation and series of lessons built around it.
